Privacy Policy

The Lovely Society is operated by Alexander Kondra. We organize in-person speed-dating events for adults across different age groups and cities. You can reach us at hello@thelovelysociety.com.

This website collects only what you choose to give us:

• Waitlist sign-ups: your email address, and optionally your first name, city, age group, and the event you’re interested in.
• Contact messages: your name, email address, and the message you send us.
• Attendee registration: your first and last name, email address, the event you’re attending, your age, dating preference, and optionally your mobile number, a profile photo, and a short conversation starter. We separately record your agreement to share your name and photo with assigned partners, with its wording, version and timestamp.
• SMS consent records: if you opt in to event text messages, we store your consent status, the date and time you consented, the exact wording of the disclosure you agreed to, the form you used, and the event it relates to.

• To notify you when tickets open for events you asked about.
• To reply to your messages.
• To register you as an attendee and check that you meet an event’s age range.
• To send you event-related text messages — only if you explicitly opted in.

Attendee records are private. You can access only your own record through your private link, and only authorized organizers can access the event roster. We never publish guest lists, phone numbers, or email addresses. With your separate sharing agreement, your dates may see your photo, first name, age and conversation starter on their signed-in event page — never your surname, contact details or private selections. Without that agreement your profile is not disclosed. You can change or revoke the agreement using your private registration link; revocation stops future access.

Mutual matches. Your selections are private. Only when you and a date both choose “Would meet again” do we share your first name, age, photo and phone number with that one person, on their signed-in profile page from 10 AM the morning after the event. One-sided selections are never revealed. We email each guest their result (match or no match) from hello@thelovelysociety.com.

We use a small number of service providers to operate this website and our events — for example website hosting, our database provider, our ticketing provider (Eventbrite), and, when active, our messaging provider (Twilio) for delivering event text messages. These providers process your information only as needed to provide their service to us.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Optional plain-text SMS messages include event reminders, links to complete your profile or confirm attendance, and essential event updates. We never send partner photos, names or round assignments by text; those appear only on the signed-in website. Delivery status records do not prove that a guest read a message. No event texts are being sent yet.

SMS consent is always optional and is never a condition of purchase or registration. You can reply STOP to any event text message to unsubscribe, or HELP for help.

You can ask us to correct or delete your personal information at any time by emailing hello@thelovelysociety.com.
