Terms and Conditions

The Lovely Society is operated by Alexander Kondra. We organize in-person speed-dating events for adults. You can reach us at hello@thelovelysociety.com.

Tickets for our events are sold through Eventbrite and are subject to the ticket terms published for each event and to the refunds and cancellations rules below. Completing the registration form on this website does not purchase a ticket or reserve admission — it completes your attendee details after you have a ticket.

Each event has a published age range, and we ask guests to register only for events they qualify for.

You may cancel for a full refund up to 7 days before the start time shown on the event page. Inside that window, tickets are final and are not refundable.

Inside the window we can move your ticket to another Lovely Society evening as credit. Credit is not cash: it cannot be exchanged for a refund later. Tickets are personal to the registered guest, so they cannot be resold or handed to someone else.

If you don’t attend the evening, your ticket is not refunded.

If we cancel or postpone an evening, every ticket for it is refunded in full to the original payment method, unless you ask us to hold it as credit for a future evening instead.

Refunds are processed by Eventbrite back to the card or account you paid with. To request one, reply to your Eventbrite confirmation or email hello@thelovelysociety.com with your name and the event. Please allow a few business days for your bank to post the credit.

If you explicitly opt in, The Lovely Society will send you automated, plain-text event messages at the number you provide: event reminders, links to complete your profile or confirm attendance, and essential event updates such as schedule or venue changes. We do not send picture messages or round assignments by text — partners, rounds and selections are shown only on the signed-in website. No event texts are being sent yet.

Your separate sharing agreement permits your assigned partners to see your photo, first name, age and introduction on their signed-in event page during the event. Your surname, email and private selections stay private. Only when you and a date both choose “Would meet again” do we share your first name and phone number with that one person, the morning after the event. You may register without messaging consent or sharing agreement; without sharing agreement your profile stays hidden and a host can assist. Revoke sharing through your private registration link or contact us.

Our events are welcoming, hosted evenings. We may refuse entry or ask a guest to leave if their behavior makes others feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
